President Biden, Mr. Unity himself, went full force on attacking what he calls MAGA Republicans* tonight, as they represent “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” Let’s assume Mr. Biden really believes this, and this is not just more of the over-the-top rhetoric that both Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump love to revel in. If this is true, why again did the Democrats spend millions of dollars to fund so many of the MAGA Republicans in the primaries? People that Mr. Biden claim to be a threat to us all? 

And some wonder why the American people are so disgusted with politics. ‘Nuff said.

* What constitutes a MAGA Republican? I’m not particularly sure, but there were a lot of votes for Donald Trump. Does he really believe that almost half the country is a threat to Democracy? Seriously, I would love to know exactly who is the threat he’s so concerned about. People that love Mr. Trump’s policies? Only those that went into the capitol on Jan 6th? People that think the Mar-a-lago raid was a bit over the top? People that wish Mr. Trump were the President and not Mr. Biden? The Supreme Court?**

** After all, the Senate Majority Leader, Mr. Schumer, has already called the current supreme court an extremist MAGA court.
