Since it is the Lord’s Day and since this blog deals with the Christian view of things political, economic and cultural, it seems appropriate to give this quote from one of the great theologians, political leaders and statesmen, Abraham Kuyper:

“There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, “Mine!” 

This quote comes from Kuyper’s inaugural address at the dedication of the Free University of Amsterdam in 1880.  It succinctly captures the idea of a Christian worldview and its comprehensiveness.  Under Christ and with His Word as our guide we may engage all of thought and life for the glory of God.
