It is finals week here at Cedarville University, where all of us work. While many, many songs might be appropriate for finals week, I think this, admittedly old-fashioned, one might best capture the mindset of most students and even professors. Students pray for grades and jobs, while professors pray for endurance and serenity.

Nat King Cole was a genius. I would stack his musical catalogue next to any other performer’s and feel pretty confident about the outcome. Yes, I know this makes me corny, nostalgic, and impossibly square. So What. My response is as follows (which makes me even more unhip. I get it.)

What song do you think makes the most sense for finals week? I am open to suggestions…
